"DAWN TO DARK" - A COLLECTION OF FAIRY TALE RETELLINGS
Paranormal Romance, Contemporary Romance, YA Romance
Halston James has been imagining love stories since before she was old enough to watch telenovelas with her Mom. She runs on carbs and is convinced her blood consists of pure caffeine. She’s fluent in English, Spanish and song lyrics. For therapy, she likes to ruin the lives of fictitious characters with undiluted glee. Kidding. Mostly. She currently lives in the cupboard under the stairs with her loyal and extremely needy spouse, a labradane who is as neurotic as she is and a mini dachshund that is anything but small. You can find her lurking in dark corners with her laptop and bloodshot eyes.
New Adult, Romantic Suspense, Psychological Thrillers, Young Adult
Sonya’s a nerd—a cool nerd—who loves science, books, make-up and unicorns. She even has unicorn slippers and unicorn plushes adorn her office. It’s not obsession (or so she says), it’s simply an ode to her imaginative side.
She believes in fairytales and in the beautiful things a mind can conjure. She’s a firm believer of empowering the crazy fictional ideas, putting them down on paper (figurative paper because she’s not a fan of writing in notebooks), and letting them flourish into a story.
Don’t believe me? Ask her in any of her social media. She’s all about those connections.
Suzan Lee lives in Tasmania Australia and works as a support worker with children. She has two boys, two girls, two dogs, a cat, multiple tropical fish and a husband. She doesn't sleep much because she likes to spend her spare time putting her twisted imaginings on paper.
Kelsie prides herself on writing straight from her own heart, which is how she fell into sweet contemporary romance. She's a sucker for a love story with all the feels. When she's not chasing words for her next book, you will probably find her reading or, more likely, playing with her "monsters".
She adores chocolate, photography, baking, chick flicks, and running. And now that she's actively pursuing her writing dreams, she's set her sights on someday finding the self-discipline to not eat an entire batch of cookies in one sitting.

KZ Riley is 29 years old and lives near Lubbock, Texas where the wind blows constantly. She has been married to her husband for seven years and they have two daughters together. She has been an avid reader for as long as she can remember and recently took that love to the next level. First, it started by being an ARC and BETA reader for authors, then she began her own review page to let others know of amazing books she was reading, and finally she came to the ultimate outcome: an author herself. For several years, she played with the idea of writing a story and even jotted down notes and storylines, but never had the courage to finish an idea and publish it. It was with the help from the Penned in Ink group that she put her fears aside and decided to go for it.
Horror, occult fiction, suspense, and fantasy with a dash of romance.
Hey there! I'm Courtney Shockey. I'm a writer with a twisted mind and an avid coffee drinker. I'm married with two children and janitor for four (and counting) fur babies. I'm a Walking Dead fan, but hate zombie movies. They're terrifying. Living on the outskirts of Houston, I work in the industrial field 50+ hours a week. Writing is done on my free time and keeps me sane! (If you read my stories, you'll know that's how I get my crazy out...)
